My neighbor called last week: did we want to try frying an egg on the sidewalk?
Of course!!! What else are we going to do for fun when it’s too hot to breathe outside?
We tried this two ways: first on the street, and then on a preheated cookies sheet (the latter was Matt’s idea).
So as you can see- no frying happened; undaunted, we tried scrambling:
Guess it just wasn’t hot enough…. Does anyone know just what temperature it has to be outside to fry an egg on the sidewalk?
